In the Chinese province of Shandong on June 30, officials opened the bridge over the Gulf of Jiaozhou. 36.48 km long bridge, with eight auto-lanes, is the longest sea bridge in the world. The bridge connects the mainland of Chinese port city of Qingdao with island area Huandao.
